Apply for a grant or break at one of our Holiday Homes

Grants

We make small grants to enable us to help as many children and their families as possible, below is a list giving examples of the type of grant we will consider.

If your requirement is not on the list please feel free to still apply as this list is not exhaustive.

• White Goods for example washing machines, tumble dryers etc.
• Travel expenses for hospital visits
• Medical equipment
• Sensory equipment
• Laptops, Computers and Software
• Clothing

Items we WILL NOT consider

• Ipads
• Mobile Phones
• Holidays (other than at our own Holiday Homes)

Normally if a request is for the purchase of an item we will endeavour to source it direct, when we are unable to do this it is a condition of the grant that you provide a receipt or invoice for the item within 14 days of the grant being made.

Holiday Homes

We have two holiday homes that enable us to provide week long breaks to families of children that meet our criteria.
Most of the school holidays are booked very quickly so please be prepared to accept dates that are during school terms.

Any grant or holiday must be for the benefit of the child and has to be supported by a Social Worker, Consultant, Physiotherapist, GP, School or any other relevant recognised UK body.  This supporting evidence must explain the need or benefit that the grant will fulfil.

All applications received will be considered by the trustees at their regular meetings and we will endeavour to notify you of their decision within six weeks of us receiving the application.
